“For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.”(Psalm 139:13//NKJV)

In “The Strongest Strong’s Concordance”, the word ‘covered’ means ~ “to cover, conceal, overshadow, shield, to knit together…”.

We were covered, overshadowed, shielded, and watched over by the Lord, while we grew inside the womb. The Lord is so amazing in everything He is and has done. He loves and cares for us, so much; beyond our understanding. The Lord covers, overshadows, and watches over even those precious ones that struggle within the womb, even when death comes. It is then that the Lord’s angels cover and cradle them in their arms, and carry them safely home; to their Heavenly mansion.

The Lord is good.

“Glory in His Holy Name”

In both I Chronicles 16:10 and Psalm 105:3 it says ~ “Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the LORD!”

The word “glory” in the Strong’s Concordance means “to praise, give thanks, cheer, extol; to be praised, be worthy of praise, be of renown, to make one’s boast in the name of God…”.

To ‘glory’ in His holy name would be to have one’s heart and mind set on fully worshiping the Lord, with pure and total abandonment. With one’s focus only on the Lord, without any awareness of one’s surroundings. Worshiping with a pure and loving heart, with awestruck excitement and joy.

That First Morning and Evening

When God created the second day with the very first sunrise and sunset, it must have been spectacular to view for the very first time. Sunrises and sunsets are so brilliant and spectacular, so imagine viewing them for the very first time(with full understanding of what they represent). With God’s creative touch, we have viewed many spectacular and brilliant sunrises and sunsets. God’s love for us is so amazing, when He has added those special touches to our daily lives; like an amazing sunrise or sunset. So, remember to thank Him for those special touches, those special moments that are added to your daily routine; because He loves you.

“And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day.”(Genesis 1:8//NKJV)

God’s love is so amazing. His love is excellent, tender and merciful. His love is strong and compassionate. It is deeper than the greatest depth, and wider than the expanse of the universe; it is boundless. God’s love is so amazing that He sent Jesus Christ to die upon a cross for us. Jesus Christ took all of our sins upon Himself, and sacrificed His life for us. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”(John 3:16//NKJV). What an awesome, amazing love.

“By His name YAH, and rejoice before Him.”(Psalm 68:4//NKJV). In the Strong’s Concordance YAH(JAH) means “The sacred name, JAH the Lord most vehement.” Vehement means “acting or moving in great force, characterized by intense feeling, strong passion.”(Websters dictionary). Wow! Now that speaks volumes of how great, powerful, strong,, and awesome God is. With such power and greatness beside us, behind us, or in some cases carrying us; we have nothing to fear. So walk in the strength of the Lord.

On Facebook recently, there was a challenge to place little pieces of paper in a jar. Those pieces of paper would consist of “suprise gifts, accomplished goals, the beauty of nature, LOL moments, memories and daily blessings”. This would start 1-1-2014, and then on 12-31-14 you would open your jar and read all the wonderful blessings that occurred throughout the year. So on 1-1-2014 just after Midnight, I was reading Psalm 64:10 and did a word study on the last word ‘glory’. In short, per the Strong’s Concordence glory means “to make a show, to boast, to celebrate”. Yes! We as God’s Saints will make a show of, boast about, and celebrate God’s answers to prayers, of His Creation, of all that He does. We will glorify and praise His Holy Name for who He is.
